The Technology team have been working on a project to support the growth of Design & Technology with our local feeder primary schools across south Herefordshire, as well as working with a number of local business to support this initiative. BHBS would especially like to thank Tudors and Forbes Group for their help and involvement, these projects would be impossible to run without their generous support.

We have provided both training and resources to staff to deliver a fun, engaging and sustainable project for students. The project has been designed by the Technology team at BHBS, all schools receive everything they need for the project including modelling materials and a workbook for every student. We hope this will enable primaries to give students in Year 5, the opportunity for practical activities in Design & Technology before they come to us in Year 7. Special thanks also to staff at BHBS for providing the fastenings and tools to complete the project.

On July 13th we were delighted to welcome fifty Year 5 students from Holmer C of E Academy, this is our third such project with the school and we would like to thank the Headteacher Jayne Maund and Jen Philips for their support of BHBS.
