It is French Language Week and the 20th March is the annual UN Day of ‘La Francophonie’.

Students should watch out around school for some posters, which will appear ready for Monday. Can you name the 29 countries around the world where French is the national language (or one of them)?

Teach the teacher: next week, if you can tell your French teacher a fact or piece of information about one of the Francophonie countries which she didn’t already know, you can earn some house points. We will be honest!
