This academic year BHBS has received a number of sporting accolades and successes across a range of sports and year groups!

It first started with the Y9 Netball team advancing to the regional finals, followed by the KS3 & KS4 basketball teams being crowned County Champions and securing their place in the National Cup.

Next up, both Y7 and Y11 boys won the Rugby's 7's County Championship.

The Y11 boys' winning streak did not stop there; the Rugby 1st team also secured the title of County Champions, and the football team once again retained their County Champions title at a fantastic final at Edgar Street.

The Y7&8 and Y9&10 Girls’ football teams also followed suit, securing the title of County Champions, which was also played at Edgar street. As a result of this, BHBS has been awarded the Richard Wydenbach School of the Year cup for football for the very first time since it was established in 2006.

Notably, the Y11 boys have achieved another first by winning 4 County Champions titles in the same year, something BHBS has never experienced.

A special mention must go to Will S and Henry G who represented the school in all 4 sporting disciplines.
