CAREERS EVENTS AT BHBS
Herefordshire & Ludlow College Catering & Hospitality
For the past three years, students from years 10 and 11 have had the opportunity to attend an outreach event at the Cider Orchard restaurant at Herefordshire & Ludlow College.
The students worked with the Hospitality & Catering team using seasonal produce in a realistic working environment and produced an outstanding four-course lunch for the colleges restaurant guests.
FH Dale Visit
In November, FH Dale hosted twelve of our Year 10 pupils giving them an insight into steel fabrication and engineering.
Students were given a detailed talk on the various aspects of the business from estimation through to production, delivery and construction. The huge range of career options were discussed within the industry. They also had a tour of the workshops housing state of the art equipment.
